Hartington

This is another one of the more popular villages in the Peaks, with olde-worlde buildings arranged around a large village green.  It can get very busy in the summer months.

There is a lovely cheese shop in Hartington.  The village used to have a Stilton cheese factory, which sadly closed, but the shop still sells a good range of local cheeses.  It also has a couple of pubs and a range of cafes to choose from.
