Please note:
Shippon is positioned below another cottage - we have done our upmost regarding sound transfer by replacing floors and ceilings with specialist acoustic materials yet we would not recommend this cottage if you are particularly sensitive to noise.
About the Cottage:
Shippon has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area – possessing charm and character. It has a warming log burning stove and exposed rustic stonework.
The double bedroom has an arched opening through to a separate dressing area where on request, a single put-up bed can be placed if preferable to have two seperate beds (maximum 2 people). The cottage has a good sized bathroom with a shower over bath.
Outside there is a small enclosed outdoor seating area, opposite the cottage (other side of courtyard).
Space wise, Shippon is an ideal middle ground – larger than our smallest cottages (Bluebell & Honeysuckle) yet smaller than our largest two person cottage (Dove). Shippon has a charming log burning stove with stone suround along with characterful archway dividing the bedroom and dressing area. A single put-up bed can be placed in the dresser area should you wish for two separate beds (on request).
