Eight traditional and cosy dog-friendly cottages, sleeping between 1 and 6 (27 in total) set in 20 acres of grounds within the heart of the Peak District National Park – surrounded by fields, yet only 2 miles from the centre of Bakewell. A proud position within the Derbyshire landscape.
Traditional Peak District Holiday Cottages
Our 8 traditional stone barn conversion cottages are set around a courtyard, just 2 miles from the centre of Bakewell. Each cottage has been lovingly converted from traditional style farm buildings, preserving the original Derbyshire character whilst being fitted out for today's lifestyle. Each cottage is unique in its size, design and layout whilst all possessing an individual enclosed outdoor seating area. Cottages to sleep between 1 - 6 people (27 in total). We offer flexible arrival and departure days (any days of the week) - minimum 2 night stay.
We also have site facilities to accompany our cottages including: Games Room, Group Dining Area, Laundry Room, BBQ Viewpoint Area, Dog Paddocks, Field Walk, Walks from the Door, Enclosed Outdoor Seating Areas and 20 acres of Grounds.

Breathtaking Views & Scenery
We are situated at the top of a hill, approximately 1100ft above sea level meaning the site is blessed with wonderful views over the local Derbyshire countryside, including lovely south westerly views over Lathkill Dale.
There are a range of walks straight from your front door with the villages of Monyash, Over Haddon, Sheldon and Ashford-in-the-Water accessed directly via the local footpath. Many of our guests also appreciate the views whilst enjoying the joyful garden birds, dabbling in photography or simply having a relaxed picnic.
Ideally placed to explore the Peak District & Derbyshire countryside
Bolehill Farm is an ideal base to explore the local area. The area's famous attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Heights of Abraham are all a short drive away.
There are many special places to explore on foot in the Peak District, including Kinder Scout and Mam Tor through to our many pretty villages. Moreover, our local trails are excellent whether on foot or bike. These include the Monsal, Tissington, High Peak and Manifold trails.
Bakewell and the surrounding area has a range of pubs, restaurants and local cafes (and not forgetting the famous Bakewell Pudding and Derbyshire Oatcakes - not to be missed!)
Well behaved and non-reactive dogs are welcome in all our cottages and tend to enjoy all that Bolehill has to offer.
Dogs seem to enjoy the easy-going, laid back nature of the site.
We have 2 dog paddocks along with a much smaller dog paddock ideally suited for smaller dogs, 'Little Legs Dog Paddock'. Our dog paddocks are always free of cows. We also have a dog wash hose.
Each of our cottages have a small individual enclosed area.
The Peak District hosts an ever increasing amount of dog friendly attractions and pubs.

Family Groups Welcome
Bolehill Farm sleeps up to 27 guests, split across 8 cottages. We are a family-friendly oriented site and believe this tranquil environment can be enjoyed by all.
We offer full site bookings which allow you and your group the freedom and space to enjoy our facilities with exclusive use. We also offer small group bookings of up to 14 people to share the site with other guests.
Our Group Dining Room and connecting kitchen is a bookable area (at time of booking), with seating up to 24 people. It allows your group to cook, dine and socialise together. This area also has a communal games room above (exclusively yours for a whole site booking).
Outside, we have a communal BBQ viewpoint area with seating for up to 24 people (exclusively yours for a whole site booking).
